One of the articles I found said that a person should see what is known about the topic. Are there any gaps in the knowledge in the subject that people probably wont know about. Who is the audience you are writing for. What research has been done on this topic and what can someone do to make it different from theirs.
Then it states what the purpose of a literature review is which is identify data sources, to identify how the research project is related to the works of other. The article discussed finding the right topic and make sure its researchable.
The next article, explained how its important to organize the information in a way that is not confusing to anyone. Then it explains what a literature review is and why it is beneficial. This article was very interesting and posted very interesting points to make a point. Basically the literature review is supposed to support what the researcher is arguing. Also to give information on what the other researchers did on the topic.
